Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenz and Marie Zimmerman; brother, Gary Zimmerman; grandson, Jaymison Zimmerman and nephew, Tanner Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Baraboo with Rev. Matthew Gehrke officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

She was born on October 16, 1940 in Spring Green, WI the daughter of Almon and Catherine (Bonetti) Hook. Randy was married on September 5, 1960 to Anthony “Tony” Prem. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Plain American Legion Auxiliary.

Randy’s sense of humor was legendary, having had to keep up with the three men of her life, whose main mission seemed to be to keep her on her toes. Randy’s life was filled with many journeys, from owning and operating The Shed Restaurant and Bar in Spring Green for over thirty years, to channeling her love into her family and friends. Her laughter, love and compassion she carried in her heart swept through everyone she met and interacted with.

On their houseboat along the Mississippi River in De Soto, Wisconsin, Randy and Tony cherished the simply joy of watching the river's tranquil currents and casting lines for fishing, their love echoing the steady rhythm of the water as they shared moments of both stillness and excitement.

From her special lunches with her best friend in life, her sister, Lynn, to gambling trips with her friend Deb, she brought smiles to everyone. She built countless memories with great friends, namely Stan and Rosetta Bauer, whether playing cards or sitting quietly reminiscing. She also enjoyed many adventurous outings with her many sisters-in-law.

Randy’s survivors include 2 sons, Scott (Peg) Prem, Marc Prem; grandchildren, Matthew (Faith) Prem and Megan (Shamus) Meyers; sister, Lynn Meister; nephew, Todd (Maria) Meister; niece, Jackie (Glenn) Spears; brothers-in-law, Mike (Mary) Prem, Andy Prem, Bill (Sandy) Prem; sisters-in-law, Catherine McDonald, Martha Erickson, and Dorothy (David) Gorman; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Almon and Catherine Hook; her husband, Tony Prem; uncles, Robert Bonetti, Lawrence Bonetti and aunt Joann Bonetti; brothers-in-law, Jack Meister, Edward Prem, Bernard Brings, Rudy Erickson, Larry McDonald, Joe Prem; sisters-in-law, Mary Brings, Rosie Prem, Mary Prem and Karen Prem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at

St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.

Jim was born on November 19th, 1964 in Platteville, WI; son of Jack and Shirley (Steffen) Withrow. He grew up working on the family farm with his dad, Jack, until he moved into the construction world for many years with the Bevan family, and then with his brother-in-law, Scott Austin. He also worked at Farm & Fleet in Platteville for a few years when the kids were little.

Anyone that knew Jim would say he was a very social, active friend, always willing and wanting to help. He loved the outdoors and would be out working on his ever-growing wood pile any chance he could. His grandsons called him “Grandpa Woodstove” and there could not be a more fitting name.

He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan, snowmobiler, motorcyclist, fisherman, hunter, and in his younger days, fast pitch softball pitcher.

Jim is survived by his mother, Shirley Withrow; four children: Katie (Dan) Kirshbaum, Jake (Amanda Fitzgerald) Withrow, Emilie (Nate Bray) Withrow, Luke (Rebecca Knapp) Withrow; former wife Janice (Splinter) Withrow; five grandchildren: Lydia, Kyler, Sara, Weston, and Hazel; four sisters: Jona Austin, Jill (Greg) Hubbard, Jami (Josh) Noble, Joni (Chad) Mueller; brother-in-law Scott Austin, many nieces and nephews and many close friends, including Amanda James. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jon “Jack” Withrow, mother-in-law, Barbara Splinter, grandmother Lou Ella Felderman, good friend, Jim Nicholas, and many others.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Crossroads Supper Club & Banquet Hall in Arthur. Following visitation, a short service at 1:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow.

Ken was born on June 4, 1926 in Dubuque the son of Kilian and Angeline (Roth) Kunkel, and was raised in Kieler, WI. He married Marie Placke on May 31, 1948 at St. Joseph's Sinsinawa. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Trinity Catholic Church since 1954 and was a very religious man. He worked for Roeder Implement since they opened in 1956.

He is survived by his wife Marie, one daughter Kathy (Mike) Schroeder of Davenport, IA. Four grandchildren, Angela (Jared) Smith, of Smyrna, GA, Katie (Nick Seacord) Schroeder, of Kansas City, MO, Amy (Matt) Sweeney, of Iowa City, IA, and Kenny Schroeder of Davenport, one great granddaughter Olivia Smith and one expected in June. Five brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Kunkel, Ralph (Darlene) Kunkel, John (Pat) Kunkel, Gerald (Rose Ann) Kunkel, and Floyd (Darlene) Kunkel, all of Kieler. Brother-in-law Vernon (Eileen) Placke, of Dickeyville, WI, and sister-in-law Doris Wolter of Mesa, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Linda Lou in 1982, two sisters and brother's-in-law Rita (Eugene) Hornbeck, and Marian (Gilbert) Vaassen, mother & father-in-law Joseph & Rose Placke, sister-in-law Rosaline Edwards and brother-in-law Merlyn Wolter.

She worked as a waitress at Rusty’s Chinese Restaurant in Galena and also in Dubuque. She then worked at the Casino Bell when it came to Dubuque and retired from the Diamond Jo Casino.

Kristen enjoyed gardening, her pets, and collecting fairies and angels. She was a sweet lady who especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Heather L. Brothers; granddaughter Danielle L. (Deondre) Terry and their children Brielle, Hakiem and Amir. Her siblings. Karen H. Waller, Mark E. Frommelt, Wendy L. Renne and Gene P. Frommelt, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kristen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jerry L. McClain; grandparents Helen and Herman Blum; and two brothers Craig S. Frommelt and Kent D. Frommelt.

He was a retired employee of Consoweld Corp. and a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. He was an entrepreneur who spent his life helping others. He was a caring man who took pride in motivating others to achieve excellence in their lives and careers. He was an avid reader who enjoyed life and loved his family. He was also a former member of the Air National Guard. He was married to Barbara Daniels Hicks of the home who survives. Other survivors include 2 sons, Russell Bain Hicks and wife Laurie of Charlotte and Reade Brendan Hicks of Fort Mill, SC; and 1 daughter, Robin Chandler, and her husband Mark of Charlotte. A brother, Ray Eddins Hicks, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home in Albemarle from 11AM until 1PM prior to the hour of service.

Ray graduated from Kings Business College and enlisted in the US Air Force in July 1951 and retired in September 1971 after 20 years of service. After his retirement from the Air Force he pursued a career in furniture restoration operating his own business. He later retired from Rooms To Go. Ray was a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 30 years serving as a trustee deacon and Sunday school teacher for over 40 years. Ray was a board member of EEEM a Christian Mission to Eastern Europe. He had a real heart and love for the peoples of Eastern Europe and since 1987 had traveled there on 8 different mission trips. In response to visits with the Director of EEEM the people came to know and love Ray deeply. The love of his life was his family and to always be there when they needed him and to always make everything all right. No one can fill the void he will leave in our lives. A special thanks to all at MMG Sanger Clinic and Carolinas Medical Center especially all the people from Food Service who went beyond the call of duty. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Southside Baptist Church with The Revered Doug Agnew, The Reverend Mike Lawing and The Reverend Brian Bounds officiating. Interment will follow at Palmerville Baptist Church Cemetery Palmerville, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home Charlotte.
