She was past president of the Altar Rosary Society and was very active in church work at St. Mary Our Mother. Eleanor was an avid bridge player and reader. Her surviving family includes her husband of 52 years, William; daughter and sons, Ann (John) Guerci of Newington, Conn., Gerald (Kelly) Gleason of Beaver Dams, N.Y., and James (Jonna) Gleason of Newburgh, Ind; grandchildren, Michael, Katherine, Dustin, Shawn, Matthew and Mara; and sisters, Helen Pletzer of Spring Green, and Nora (Raymond) Mihlbauer and Patricia (Keith) Kautzer, all of Reedsburg. He met and married the love of his life, Nora J. Doyle. They were united in marriage in July of 1952, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg. Ray proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 21 years through which he and Nora lived in various places around the world. The Mihlbauers were blessed with six children. One of Ray’s greatest joys was coaching the kid’s athletic teams through their younger years. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Ray was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg, Knights of Columbus and the LaValle American Legion Post #242.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emery and Lenord Mihlbauer; and sisters, Emeline
Hamburg and Agnes Haberman.

He was married to Patricia Doyle at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg. He enjoyed flying and obtained his pilot’s license after his military service. He enjoyed cooking on his grill, playing cards and golfing. Keith enjoyed good music, dancing and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked many years for Wick Building Systems and later operated C&J Insurance Agency until retirement. He enjoyed traveling out west and spending time in Arizona and Florida. Keith enjoyed telling jokes and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Patricia of Reedsburg His children: Kitty (Randall Porter) Kautzer of Naperville, IL Connie (Karl) Beth of Waunakee His Grandchildren who brought him great joy: Ryan Pijanowski, Kaitlyn Pijanowski, Kevin Beth and Kristopher Beth. Sisters and Brother: Marie Zittlow of Adams-Friendship Josephine Loeffler of Medford Sue (Charles) Mains of Medford Kenneth Kautzer of Lancaster Nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. We honor his life with a Mass Of Christian Burial on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in Holy Family Catholic Church, LaValle with Fr. Lorin Bowens officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the church by the VFW Post 1916 of Reedsburg. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-6 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home and again on Monday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

She met and married the love of her life, Oliver Anderson, on December 17, 1938 at Trondhjem Lutheran Church.

To this union were born four children, Violet, Gloria, Erling & Eldean. The couple farmed together most of their life & later worked at Human Services Center in Yankton, for 15 ½ years. They later moved to Yankton.

Eline deeply loved her family & her family meant everything to her. Any excuse for a family party, be it a birthday, any holiday & especially Christmas brought a sparkle to her eyes. Her grandchildren loved having her around to tease, cling to & love. She always welcomed visitors & enjoyed their visits.

Eline was known for her sense of humor, her compassion for the elderly, her love of reading, embroidery, word find puzzles, game shows, Days of Our Lives, baking & love of all children big & little.

She is survived by her two daughters; Violet (Roger) Paulson of Kemmerer, WY, and Gloria Snoozy of Yankton, grandchildren; Jeff (Janet) Paulson, Chris (Sheri) Paulson, Michelle (Brad) Tronvold, Michael (Diana) Snoozy, Anna (Dave) Patterson, Brian (Tasha) Snoozy, Mike Anderson & friend Jen, Aaron (Sarah) Anderson, John (Karmen) Benson, Phillip (Angel) Benson, Danny (Bridget) Benson, great-grandchildren; Amanda (Andy) Meacham, David Paulson, Cody, Nichole & Courtney Paulson, Kayla, Chris, Dean & Kady Tronvold, Kelsey, Tyler, Kylie & Karson Snoozy, Brady & Morgan Patterson, Queona, Aurora, Bret & Taylor Snoozy, Seth & Sady Anderson, Tyrell & Easton Anderson, Zack, Cody & Taten Benson, Cayden Benson, Collin Patrick, Raychel, Cayler & MaKayla Benson, great-great-grandson; Matthew Meacham, also sister Ina Lykken of Schaumburg Illinois & many nieces, nephews & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Olaf & Anna Aune, husband Oliver Anderson, two sons; Erling & Eldean Anderson, three grandchildren; Julie Paulson & infants Linda & Kevin Snoozy also one sister Opal Hagen & son-in-law Harlan Snoozy.
