Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may call from 3-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28 at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, where there will be a Parish Rosary Service at 2:40 p.m. Marie was born on October 15, 1932 in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, the daughter of Anthony J. and Rachel (Kuhl) Deutsch. She was baptized by her great uncle, Fr. Grieveldinger, at Immaculate Conception Parish in Kieler, Wisconsin. She attended a one room school in Menominee and graduated from high school at St. Clara Academy. After graduation, Marie met the love of her life, Arnold Dietzel of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, at a dance on Valentine’s Day in 1954. On December 29, 1955, they were married at Nativity B.V.M. Church, Menominee, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2005. Marie and Arnold farmed for over 30 years west of Georgetown, Wisconsin, working side by side and raising their six children. After retiring from farming, Marie was employed in Dubuque, Iowa, at Hills and Dales and Dubuque Golf and Country Club. Later, Marie and Arnold sold the farm and moved to Cuba City, Wisconsin, where she provided in-home daycare for 12 years. Following Arnold’s death in 2005, Marie worked for Belmont Township Recycling Center, and at the age of 78, she decided it was time to retire. Marie then made the Cuba City Apartments her home, making many friends along the way. She enjoyed having all family gatherings at her home, as well as cooking, baking, playing cards and completing puzzles. Most importantly, her family always came first. Marie is survived by her children, Tim (Terri) Dietzel, Horseshoe Bend, AR, Suzanne (Rod) Wilson, LaValle, WI, Pam (Randy) Timmerman, Hazel Green, WI, Randy (Amy) Dietzel, Sturgeon Bay, WI, Terry (Jodi) Dietzel, Oakfield, WI, and Sarah (Bill) Lolwing, Lancaster, WI; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eileen (Dick) Riniker, Dubuque, IA; and a brother-in-law, Edmund Dietzel, Cuba City, WI. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sr. Mary Rachel Deutsch; three brothers, Anthony, Joseph and Francis Deutsch; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dietzel-Harmuth; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Regina and Leonard Dietzel. |

Laubmeier, age 82, of Richland Center passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at UW Hospital after complications from a brain hemorrhage. She was born on May 8, 1941 to Betty H. Goode in Enid, OK, grew up and graduated from Enid High School. During her teenage years she helped her mom and sister run the movie theater in the city of Enid. She later moved to Colorado where she met George V. Laubmeier (G3) who was in the Air Force. They wed at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, TX where their daughter Angela was born. They were stationed at Griffiss AFB in Rome, New York where their son George L. (G4) was born. After retirement from the Air Force they moved to Enid, OK for 7 years and then to Richland Center, WI in 1990. In Richland Center she worked for Drs. Guelig, Vodak and Walker for many years as an Ophthalmologist Assistant and retired in 2006. She loved her family, especially her grandsons, and spending time with them. She also loved animals and had several Sheltie dogs that she raised and loved. Survivors include, daughter, Angela (Sean) Hildebrandt, son, George L. (G4) (Jenifer Kennedy) Laubmeier, 2 grandsons, George D. Laubmeier (G5) and George T. Laubmeier (G6),all of Richland Center, WI. 2 sisters-in-law, Carol Candelaria of Lakewood, CA, and Susan (John) Ghastin of Richland Center, WI., and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband George V. Laubmeier (G3), her mother, Betty H. Goode, her sister, Eva Winslett, her brother, Lawrence Goode, and her niece, Mary Elizabeth Clark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Richland Center. Monsignor Roger Scheckel will officiate with burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, next to her husband, at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Pratt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy to be prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will also be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of the mass at 1:00 PM. |

Born on December 4, 1935 to Otto and Leona Mueller, she was the first of seven kids. She lived on a diary farm and was in the barn every day. Beldona graduated from Baraboo High School in 1953. She married Ronald Stieve on her 19th birthday and together they had 3 children, Ronald Jr., Kim, and Todd. She worked many years at McArthur Towels but had many different jobs from day care provider to clerical work at Baraboo News Republic. She retired from Baraboo Concrete in 1999. Beldona married Bob Hirsch in 1971 and became stepmother to Eileen, Joan, and Russ. Bob preceded her in death on July 21, 1977. Beldona was united in marriage to Warren White on May 5, 1979. They spent 44 wonderful years together. She was very involved in St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo and was the president of Ladies Aid for many years. She loved to camp and to travel, making trips to the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, and Germany. She was also part of the DWI (Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa) Association. Beldona is survived by her husband, Warren; children, Ronald Stieve, Jr., Kim Fillion, Todd (Missy) Stieve; stepchildren, Eileen, Joan, Russ; eight grandchildren, Nathan (Pam) Stieve, Amanda (Ryan) Schell, Carolyn (Chris) Uselman, Adehlia (Chris) Thorpe, Jennifer Tress, Brandon Fillion, Alexis (Sam) Marlette, Troy Fillion; 5 step grandchildren, Matt, Madelyn, Morgan, Elyse, Erica; 24 great grandchildren; siblings, Jan (Wayne) Steinhorst, Betty Crum, Jim (Yolanda) Mueller, Alan (Mary) Mueller, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elaine Larson and Wayne and Donna Mueller and grandson, Joshua Stieve. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Kuske officiating. A time of gathering will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. |

She spent many years devoted to caring for her husband, Galen, after he was disabled due to an accident. Penny is survived by her sister Patricia Rinard; her sons Michael (Julie) Zajicek, James Zajicek, Frank (Vernelle) Zajicek and daughters Sharon Hinze and Helen Ballweg; grandchildren Michael (Jennifer) Zajicek, David (Theresa) Zajicek, Laura (Kevin) Zajicek-Bagenski, Tara (Curtis) Jayroe, Jessica Zajicek, Sara (Dan) Pulvermacher and Trevor (Abigail) Tennant; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Connie Stoltz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Attending the young couple were Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Maloy of La Crosse, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, as matron of honor and, best man, and Miss Janet Weir and Mr. Emil Frieda, of Reedsburg bridesmaid and groomsman. The bride was very charming in green costume suit, with ing hat and brown accessories. She wore a corsage of tea roses. The matron of honor was gowned lu a blue ensemble, with matching hat and accessories, and wore a corsage of pink roses. The bridesmaid was dressed in plum ensemble with matching hat and accessories, and wore corsage of pink roses. Following the ceremony a very delicious wedding dinner was served at the Oneida hotel to th bridal party and the immediate relatives. After the dinner, an afternoon reception was held at the home of the bride's father, Mr. Carroll. Guests from away, outside of the bridal party, were Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Brimmer, parents of the groom, and his brothera, James Brimmer, Walter Brimmer, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brimmer and his sisters, Mrs. Eva Cooper, and Miss Arline Brimmer, all of Reedsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Fremner, John Bayless, Vic Rankin and Ferman Maloy, all of Madison. After a honeymoon trip to Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Brimmer will reside at 717 Spruce Madison. |

She had a good eye for unique jewelry, which people would stop and ask her about, and she enjoyed going to garage sales. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cedric; her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and (Francis) Marx Maloy; her brother, Edward Carroll; son-in-law, Howard Rindfleish Jr; brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his daughters -- Donna (David) Rajchel, Merrimac, WI, and Debra (David) Olson, McFarland, WI; three grandchildren -- Bethany (Zach) Mender, Oregon, WI, Josh Olson, Middleton, WI and Alex Olson, Seattle, WA; a sister Pat (the late Fred) Sussek, Reedsburg, WI; and several incredible people he proudly called his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Edith (Stricker) Brimmer as well as five siblings: Rose Marie, Mary Jane, David, Joan (Steinweg), and Richard Jr. John was born on April 23, 1937, in Reedsburg, WI, and enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 16. He served on the USS Van Voorhis during the Korean War. He was justifiably proud of his service to his country, participating in Badger Honor Flight on April 25, 2015. As he leaves this earth, he wears his Honor Flight jacket and takes the Navy seal with him on his next voyage. After his service to our nation, John used his incredible mechanical skills at Uniroyal Tire, Stoughton, WI, Bruns Volkswagen, Madison, WI, and ultimately retired from Stoughton Public Schools, Stoughton, WI. He had a passion for restoring Volkswagens, including his much-loved Karmenn Ghia. He also loved annual deer hunts with friends and relatives in LaValle, WI, time at the family camper in Rio, WI, and spending time enjoying and then bragging about the numerous shenanigans of his grandchildren. Many of the pranks they lovingly learned at his side. He was a feisty, determined German who passed the same way he lived – fighting cancer to the end. John was the proud father of the greatest source of joy and pleasure in his life, his daughters Donna, born at, uniquely enough, Stoughton General Hospital in Stoughton, MA, and Debra, born at Stoughton General Hospital, Stoughton, WI. They were at his side as he fought well beyond the 6-9 months predicted. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, at the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg, WI. |

She was born on February 17, 1934 in Reedsburg, WI, the daughter of Richard and Edith (Stricker) Brimmer. On October 8, 1955 she was united in marriage to Fred Sussek at the First Baptist Church in Reedsburg. This marriage was blessed with three children. Pat had been employed at Schulz's, National Sportswear, Brenner Litho, and Pat and Fred's Store in the late 60's and early 70's. She enjoyed painting, quilting, liked to cook, and can through the years. Pat had been a member of the First Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred on June 29, 2005; great-grandson Hunter Osborn, great-granddaughter Addison Potts; sisters Rose Marie Brimmer, Mary Jane Brimmer and Joan Steinweg; brothers Richard, John and David Brimmer. Pat is survived by her children, Mike (Lisa) Sussek of Reedsburg, Susan (Gary) Jensen of Ironton, and Dennis (Rita Lovelace) Sussek of Reedsburg; grandchildren, Leah (Keith) Miske, and Brent Sussek, Joe Jensen, Kelly (Jeff) Potts, and Mindy Jensen; great-grandchildren Brady, Bryce, Baylor, Brynlee Miske, DJ Sussek, Blake and Brittany Waldo, Jordan Potts, Elizabeth Newkirk and Joe Osborn; great-great-grandchildren Sophia and Thea Osborn, Liam Waldo, Maci Waldo, Isabella and Carter Newkirk; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Pat Sussek will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Ben Seamans officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery. The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family. |
