He is survived by his children, David Neumaier, Lynda (Cletus) Novinski, Daniel (Margery)Neumaier, Roland Neumaier, Margaret Drost, Norman Jr. (Donna)Neumaier , Eugene (Diane) Neumaier, Kathleen (Darwin) Rosemark, Clarence (Karen)Neumaier, Joseph (Della)Neumaier, Colleen (David) Jones, Howard Neumaier, Duane (Lori) Neumaier, Royce Neumaier and Juanita (Charles) Buelow; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Neumaier; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hyldred; a son, Phillip; an infant daughter; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Neumaier; two grandsons, Kenneth and Scott; and three brothers and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lodi, with Monsignor James Gunn officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Lodi Good Samaritan Center.

On June 21, 1947, he was united in marriage to Joy Hulbert and she preceded him in death on March 27, 1992. Louis and Joy owned and operated bait and tackle businesses in Adams and Prairie du Sac. Louis also worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He is survived by his daughter, Mary (Ron) O'Rourke; four grandchildren, Maria (Jeff) Schiltz, Douglas (Erica) O'Rourke, Michelle (John) Clark and Nicholas Fitzgerald; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Fitzgerald; sister, Agatha Fisk; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy; son, Joseph Michael Fitzgerald; brother, Leo (Ineta) Fitzgerald; and sister, Loretta (Lester) Brimmer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Lodi, with Monsignor Daniel T. Ganshert officiating. Interment with military rites will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at the HAMRE FUNERAL HOME, Lodi, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the Mass on Monday at the church. Edwards, age 90, of Reedsburg passed away on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, the oldest daughter of Albert and Lucy Ella (Brimmer) Spencer. Born on the family farm in rural Cazenovia, WI, Trudi was a 1952 graduate of Ithaca High School, after which she moved to Milwaukee where she met Wilmer Edwards at a YWCA dance.

Married on August 29, 1959, at the age of 25, she accepted the challenge of raising two young boys from a previous marriage. The two then chose to move the family to Wauwatosa, WI to provide an environment where their sons’ educational and spiritual growth could flourish.

Through Trudi’s loyalty with the First Congregational Church, she obtained a job as a bookkeeper with the National Association of Congressional Christian Churches (NACCC). After 40 years of honorable service, she retired as the Comptroller of the Association.

She returned to her family and friends in Sauk County where she continued to enjoy her lifelong passions of exercise, dominoes, cards, bird nurturing, and gardening.

A central figure of the family, her character of independence and strength was admired. Morally and ethically, she remained steadfast in her honorable beliefs, opinions, and values.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilmer; son, Jeffery Edwards; siblings, Donald (Isolene) Spencer, Elden (Darlene) Spencer, Raymond Spencer, Roland Spencer and Sharon Spencer.

Trudi is survived by her son, Steve (Kathy) Edwards of PA; grandchildren, Kevin Edwards and Faith (James) Wilson; brother, Edward (Sharon) Spencer; sisters, Mary (Frank) Novy, Georgia (Ronald) Moore; sisters-in-law, Sheryl Spencer and Mary Lou Spencer; 19 nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, Oct. 30, at the United Methodist Church in Reedsburg the Rev James Know officiating. Interment will ibe in the Greenwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on December 25, 1982; one brother: Alvin Schulz and two sisters: Arlene Luetkens and Vera Kurth. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Christopher Miller officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg. There will be a visitation from 12 noon until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.

He was born on May 27, 1884 in Germany and came to the United States when he was nine. He operated a hardware store in Rock Springs. Survivors include his wife, the former Martha Retzlaff, and stepson Henry Eschenbach of Mauston. Funeral services, arranged by Gant Funeral Home, were held at 1:30 pm Sunday, October 17 by Rev. Norman Miller. Burial was at St. John's cemetery in Rock Springs.
