William and his son- in- law, James Anthony, both fought in the Battle of Stony Point and were each taken as Prisoners of War while serving in South Carolina. Frank was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired as shop manager of AME in Fort Mill, SC. He was a Master Mason of Philanthropic Lodge 32, two times a past Master, member of York County Crescent Shrine Club, Great Falls Shrine Club, and served 22 years in the Army National Guard. He was a proud member of the Honor Guard in Rock Hill, SC, a devoted husband, and loving father, brother and friend to many. Frank is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Ghant Clark, daughter, Vivian Hicks and her husband, Jim, step-children, Terri Good (Gary), Russell Illenz, Jody Illenz (Sandy), grandson, Allan Bolin and his wife Kayllie, their daughter Ella Kate, and daughter on the way, Blaire, seven step-grand-children: Gary, Jake, Brian- na, Tiffany, Wesley, Joseph, and Kaitlyn; and sisters, Ann Clark Hogue (Harry), and Sarah Clark Lineberger (Tony).

Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Frank was born on October 4, 1938 in Cheraw, SC. He was the son of the late John Franklin Clark, Sr. and Edna Cabaniss Clark and was the widower of Patricia Summerlin. Frank was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired as shop manager of AME in Fort Mill, SC.

He was a Master Mason of Philanthropic Lodge 32, two times a past Master, member of York County Crescent Shrine Club, Great Falls Shrine Club, and served 22 years in the Army National Guard. He was a proud member of the Honor Guard in Rock Hill, SC, a devoted husband, and loving father, brother and friend to many. Frank is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Ghant Clark, daughter, Vivian Hicks and her husband, Jim, step-children, Terri Good (Gary), Russell Illenz, Jody Illenz (Sandy), grandson, Allan Bolin and his wife Kayllie, their daughter Ella Kate, and daughter on the way, Blaire, seven step-grand-children: Gary, Jake, Brian- na, Tiffany, Wesley, Joseph, and Kaitlyn; and sisters, Ann Clark Hogue (Harry), and Sarah Clark Lineberger (Tony).

The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday February 10, 2013 at Central Baptist Church, with Pastor Carey Caldwell and Rev. Tony Lineberger officiating. Visitation will be Sunday February 10, 2013 from 1:30-3PM at Central Baptist Church fellowship hall. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. A native of York, Patsy was a daughter of the late Paul and Annie Miller Summerlin. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Patsy was a devoted Christian, where she as a long time member of Central Baptist Church. Patsy was retired from York Schoool District after 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Franklin Clark, daughter and her husband, Vivian Clark Hicks (Jim), sister and her husband Susan Jones (Eddie), grandson and his wife, Allan Bolin (Kayllie), brother-in-law Lee Good. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Paula Good. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, PO Box 689 York, SC 29745.
