Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery in Benton, Wis. There will be no visitation prior to Mass. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, Wis., is serving the family. Louie was born on April 16, 1933, to Joseph and Mary (Wiegman) Lange in Hazel Green, Wis. He grew up on the family farm and had a strong work ethic his whole life. He married Joanne Farrey on Oct. 3, 1953, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, Wis. He worked for over 38 years at John Deere Dubuque Works. Louie enjoyed fishing and camping, was a Super Fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, a devoted Catholic, and a family man who was best known for his loyalty and honesty to his family and friends. To his children he was the most influential and strongest man they ever knew, both physically and by heart. He was a quiet man, but his actions spoke volumes by leading by example. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, but will remain in our hearts forever. Louie is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joanne; four children, Luanne (Lonnie) Hefel of Benton, Wis., Larry (Deb) Lange of Beaver Dam, Wis., Dennis (Tammy) Lange of Benton, Wis., and Pam (Ken) Sheldon of Waterloo, Wis; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Tara, Adam, Justin, Jason, Jeremy, Seth, Jacob, Emily, Joshua and Allison; nine great-grandchildren, Ellie, Henry, Mabel, Paul, Aria, Easton, Bodhi, Kailana and Jax; along with many nieces and nephews. Theda was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Hazel Green, Wis., to the late Mary and Samuel Noland. Theda graduated from Hazel Green High School and Platteville Teachers College in elementary education. While at Platteville she met her husband Tony Polich. They married on May 12, 1943, while Tony was serving in the United States Army and were married for 59 years until his death in 2002. Theda taught first grade in Hazel Green, after graduating from Platteville until her husband's return from World War II. After Tony's discharge from the Army, Theda and Tony settled in Marion, Wis. There they started their family and had five daughters, Jayne, Mary, Barbara, Pat and Kathy. In the mid 1960's they moved to Green Bay and Theda taught third grade at St. Joseph's Catholic School for a number of years. After retiring, she and Tony enjoyed their family, dancing, traveling and wintering in Texas and later Arizona. Theda is survived by daughters, Barbara Polich (Val Antzcak), Salt Lake City, Utah; Patricia Polich, Green Bay; Kathryn Bryan (Greg), San Diego, Calif; son-in-law, Ron Coppersmith, Green Bay; nine grandchildren, Heather (Hayden), Eric (Stephanie), Ryan (Jinha), and Kate Servais, Jody Coppersmith Walton (Pete), Benjamin and Thomas Antzcak, and Tyler and Troy Bryan; four great-grandchildren, Abby, Elizabeth, Grace and Ava. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Elaine Polich and Frieda Polich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; daughters, Jayne Servais and Mary Coppersmith; and her only sister, Virginia Thiltgen. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthews Street, Green Bay from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Katie is survived by three sons, Daniel, of Ripon; Gregory, Rice Lake, WI; Michael Baurichter, Baldwin, WI; three daughters, Barbara (Jim) Bindl, Williams Bay, WI; Kathleen (Jimmy Ray) Pugh, Dixons Mills, AL; Elizabeth Baurichter, Oshkosh; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Joe, Adam, Albert Yust; and one sister, Elizabeth Yust. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 11, in St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Catholic Church) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Matt Simonar officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
