He was born on April 15, 1911 in Redwood Falls to Edward Sr. and Rose Anna (Garnhardt) Dunlevy. He lived in rural Redwood Falls, graduating from Redwood Falls High School. He farmed the family homestead and married Florence A. Hrdlicka on Jan. 22, 1942 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in. Redwood Falls. They lived on the family farm until 1979, when they retired and moved into Redwood Falls. He was a lifelong member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Buzz Nolan, son of John and Amy (Gibson) Nolan, was born on September 22, 1924, on a farm near Ravinia, South Dakota. Buzz grew up there and attended school in Ravinia. On May 5, 1943, he married Patricia Hrdlicka, daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Kaney) Hrdlicka, of Armour South Dakota. Six children were born to this union. Buzz and Pat lived on several different farms around the Spencer, Bristow, Fairfax, and Lynch areas. In 1958, they purchased a farm outside of Fairfax and stayed there until their daughter's graduated from High School. Buzz then purchased and operated a blacksmith and welding shop in Lynch, moving his business to Spencer in 1976. There he built a new building with Nolan Motor and Machine in the back and a packaged liquor store in front. His artistic skill was evidenced by his metal work creations of cowboys, hunters, and soldiers that grace the yards of many of his family members. Buzz's greatest accomplishments were being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His great-grandchildren were the light of his life. Buzz's garden was a tribute to his farming days, and his watermelon patch, which he planted for Pat, was his pride and joy. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Mary Jo Kooiman died on 14 September 2011 at age 87 Mary Jo Kooiman, Wolff, Marquardt, born Dec. 3, 1923, in Plankington, South Dakota, died peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at her home in Prairie du Sac. She was born the eldest child and only daughter of Dirk and Alocoque (Kaney) Kooiman. Her four brothers, John, Robert, Paul and Gene (Cyril) Kooiman all preceded her in death. Her family moved from South Dakota, when she was twelve years old and eventually settled in the Bear Valley area. It was here she met Francis Wolff; whom she married. They had six children; Mary, Auburn, Calif; Frank (Jeanne) Lake Havasu City, Ariz; John (Kathy), Madison; Robert, Necedah; Thomas (Vickie), Randolph; and Timothy (Mary), North Freedom. She has 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter in-law, Dianne Wolff and grandson, Jacob Wolff. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. While raising her family, she worked for many years at the Hoffman House Restaurant and later as a unit clerk for the University of Wisconsin Hospital, in Madison. She met her second husband, Ralph Marquardt, and they were married nearly three years before his death in 1991. Mary Jo lived an interesting life, always looking around the next corner for a new life change. She was known and admired for her youthful style, her appreciation of beautiful flowers, her love of nature, her devotion to her pets, and her love of a good cup of coffee. There will be a memorial service at the FREE CONGREGATIONAL BUILDING OF SAUK COUNTY, 301 Polk St., Sauk City, on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. with a celebration of her life at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to a charity of choice.

Gene was born on Sept. 29, 1936, the youngest of five children born to Dirk and Alacoque (Kaney) Kooiman. Gene is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Wolff Marquardt of Lake Havasu City, Ariz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John D., Robert D. and F. Paul Kooiman. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Button Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral Service of Richland Center is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Bonnie Ann Veronica Duren died on 1 January 2010 at Minnesota at age 84 Bonnie A. Greenheck, age 84, of Wabasha, MN, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Health Care Center in Wabasha.

She was born October 18, 1925 in Cazenovia, WI, the daughter of Rinold and Anna (Murphy) Duren. She grew up in Cazenovia, attended St. Anthony Catholic School in Germantown and graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1943. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1947. She was a Commercial Education teacher in Lone Rock, WI from 1947-1949. On May 30, 1949 she married Francis Greenheck in Cazenovia. After their marriage they moved to Wabasha where she helped her husband operate the Lake View Creameries beginning in 1949. Then in 1969 they operated the Nelson Cheese Factory in Nelson, WI until their retirement in 1994.

In addition to raising her large family, she pursued a very strong interest in the arts, taking many classes at area universities and art centers. She taught workshops in pottery and rosemaling and participated in art exhibits in the region. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, sewing and gardening. She was a member of St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha and an active member of its Council of Catholic Women. She was a member of the Wabasha American Legion Auxiliary Post #50 and a volunteer of the Mayo-St. Elizabeth's Hospice Program.

Bonnie is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Jolene Greenheck, Wabasha, MN, Michael and Sarah Greenheck, Eagan, MN, Peter and Jane Greenheck, St. Paul, MN, Leanne Greenheck, St. Paul, MN; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Greenheck, Wabasha, MN, Anne Hanson, Rochester, MN, Elizabeth Greenheck, Wabasha, MN, Joan and Steve Faulhaber, Menomonie, WI, Jennifer and Eric Christianson, Wayzata, MN; 23 grandchildren, Katy and Annie, Alyssa, Tommy, William and Cecilia, Fred and Erik, Clare, Peter, Jane and Lisa, Rachael, Catherine, and Laura, Elizabeth, Danny, Caroline and John and Charlie, Frances, Claire, and Eleanor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vince and Jane Duren, Cazenovia, WI, Ryne and Diane Duren, Cazenovia, WI, Kitty Rae Duren, Middleton, WI; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Bob Hecht, Racine, WI, Barbara Glaysher, Fitchburg, WI, Annette and Art Scherbert, Milwaukee, WI; nieces and nephews. Her husband, Francis, son, Gregory, brothers, Larry and Edward Duren and brother-in-law, Gordon Glaysher, preceded her in death.

A private Mass of Christian Burial for the family will be offered at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha with the Reverend Glenn Frerichs officiating. Interment will be in St. Felix Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Mayo Clinic for Alzheimer's Disease research or to a charity of the donor's choice.

The Abbott Funeral Home of Wabasha is in charge of arrangements.
