She was born on November 4, 1950, the daughter of Norman and Sylvia (Doescher) Watrud. In 1969, Arlyn graduated from Madison East High School and then attended MATC for three years.
On August 30, 1986, Arlyn was united in marriage to Jerry "Peachy" Friede in Madison. Arlyn was a longtime employee for the State of Wisconsin (17 years), volunteered countless hours at Meriter Hospital and most recently enjoyed her employment at Goodwill. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, sewing and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Arlyn is survived by her husband, Jerry "Peachy" Friede; her daughter, Tracy (Tim) Hayden; granddaughter, Taylor; her brother, Dennis Watrud; sister, Cindy Watrud; sister-in-law, Mary Watrud; nephew, James Watrud; niece, Amalia Watrud and her two four legged companions , Marilyn and Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A formal blessing of Arlyn's life will be held at The Willow's, 5485 Willow Road, Waunakee on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Father Mike Tess officiating. Family and friends can continue to gather until 6:00 pm. "Forever in our hearts."

Chuck, the son of Herbert and Sylvia (Bryant) Reinfeldt, was born on August 1, 1941 in the Township of Excelsior, Sauk County. He attended the Excelsior Country School and Reedsburg Public School. Chuck worked for a long-time as a Tree Trimmer, both as an employee for Humphrey Tree Experts in Mazomanie for many years, and working for himself around Baraboo. Chuck was married to the former Judy Baumgarten Wright on September 19, 1970 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. He was employed for seven years at Humane Manufacturing in Baraboo until 1980. For several years Chuck operated 'Reiny's Bait Shop" out of his home where he enjoyed the people he met and spoke with. The couple were residents of the Baraboo area until 1998. Chuck and Judy were currently residing at the Deer Run Mobile Home Park in Lake Delton. Chuck is survived by his wife, Judy of Lake Delton; their son, Randy (Lynne) Reinfeldt of Baraboo; his sons, Ronald, Marty and his wife, Teresa, and Dan of Powder Springs, GA: his step-sons, Timothy Wright (Patti DeLaurentis) of Reedsburg, Ricky (Michele) Wright of Clear Lake, IA, Ronald (Lyneen) Wright of Baraboo, and David (Aimee) Wright of Lake Delton; his step-daughter, Pam Martin (Tom Udelhofen) of Baraboo; 23 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 3 sisters, Elaine (Clayton) Seekins of Baraboo, Shirley (Darrold) Bennett of Reedsburg, June (Lawrence) Schara of Reedsburg; 4 brothers, Bernard (Joyce) Reinfeldt of North Freedom, Glenn (Sharon) Reinfeldt of Rock Springs, Lyle (Marilyn) Reinfeldt of Baraboo, Kenneth (Shirley) Reinfeldt of Reedsburg.

She enjoyed fishing, reading and sewing. She especially enjoyed creating many quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her passion in later years was playing cards (euchre) and winning most of the time. June was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rock Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence on March 2, 2009; sister, Elaine Seekins; sister-in-law, June Reinfeldt; and brothers, Lyle, Glen, Bernard “Bud”, Charles and Cleo Reinfeldt.

June is survived by her children, Judy (Kent) Schroeder of Stoughton, Larry (Lois) Schara of North Freedom, Gary (Georgia Kay) Schara of North Freedom, Richard Schara of Reedsburg, Kevin (Elizabeth) Schara of Lodi, and Jeff (Krystal) Schara of North Freedom; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Shirley) Reinfeldt of Reedsburg; sister, Shirley Bennett of Portage; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Reinfeldt, Marilyn Reinfeldt and Judy Reinfeldt.


Funeral services for June Schara will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Rock Springs with Pastor David Karow officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Rock Springs. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

He was a family man whose greatest joy was his family and grandchildren. He was a very active member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church of Rock Springs and had served on the church council. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; sisters, Josephine Kopf and Leona Mueller; and brother, Melvin Schara. He is survived by his wife, June of Reedsburg; children, Judy (Kent) Schroeder, Larry (Lois) Schara, Gary (Georgia) Schara, Dick Schara, Kevin (Liz) Schara and Jeff (Krystal) Schara; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Adeline Hinz; brothers, Lloyd, Virgil and William Schara; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Lawrence Schara will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2009, at ST. JOHN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH in Rock Springs with the Rev. Paul Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Rock Springs. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the FARBER FUNERAL HOME in Reedsburg, and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. He then went to work with Humphrey Tree Company, which was eventually bought out by Hooper Construction Co., where he remained employed for 41 years. Upon his retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching baseball and football games on TV. Bud enjoyed reading his newspaper, especially the sports pages, going for rides in the country, playing cards, shaking dice and occasionally placing a dollar on a friendly bet or football pool. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce of North Freedom; three sons: Bernie (Lynnette) Reinfeldt of Marshall, Michael (Susan) Reinfeldt of Franklin, Tenn., and Stephen (LeeAnn) Reinfeldt of Sheboygan; a daughter, Nancy Reinfeldt of North Freedom; his grandchildren: Jon, Adam (Katie), Jarod and Elise; his sisters: June Schara of Reedsburg amd Shirley (Darrold) Bennett of Reedsburg; his brother: Kenneth (Shirley) Reinfeldt of Reedsburg; numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cleo, Glen, Lyle and Charles; and a sister, Elaine Seekins. We honor his life with a visitation on Monday, July 18 from 5-8 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg. Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday. Her mother died on Easter Sunday in 1934, which left Joyce to help care for her dad and siblings and assist with daily household chores at a very young age. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1948. On March 18, 1950 she was united in marriage to Bernard "Bud" Reinfeldt; he preceded her in death on July 14, 2011 after 61 years of joyful marriage. Joyce worked as a unit clerk at the Sauk County Health Care Center for over 30 years until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed embroidery, tending to her flowers, reading and doing puzzles.

Survivors include her children, Bernard (Lynnette) of Marshall, Michael of Franklin, TN, Stephen (Lee Ann) of Sarasota, FL and Nancy of Baraboo; four grandchildren, Jon (Nichole), Adam (Katie), Jared and Elise (Zach) Jenkins; as well as five great-grandchildren, Ella Mae and Alyson Grace Reinfeldt, Ella Rae and Rhett Jenkins, and Autumn Lynn Reinfeldt as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Dale and Robert.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home with Pastor Cathy Christman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Private family burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.
