On December 2, 1978, LeRoy was united in Marriage to Michelle Heiser. He enjoyed many fishing trips after milking with kids and wife to White Mound. Later in life he enjoyed going out on the boat with his grandkids and wife, although most of the time was spent putting the worm on the hook. He enjoyed playing cards with family, friends, and bowling in a league at the Palace Bar and Bowl. He enjoyed gardening from the crack of dawn until the sun went down. He truly enjoyed cutting wood with the family making sure that his family had warmth through the winters.
