He was born January 27, 1955 at Yankton, SD to Harry Eugene Anderson and Betty Huber of Volin. He attended Pleasant Valley Country School to the 8th grade and graduated from Gayville Volin High School in 1973. On April 8, 1989 he married Janelle Wiebers of Centerville, SD. He drove truck for various companies; Peters Trucking, Dante, SD, Riley Co, Irene, Lee Enterprises, Volin, SD and Hinseth Trucking, Irene. He was also a mechanic for Jensen Service, Irene. He owned and operated DA's Pit Stop in Volin from 2001-2003. He loved working on cars, tractor pulls, horseshoes, playing pinochle and classic car shows. He dearly loved spending time with family & friends. He was always willing to help anyone at any time.

He is survived by his wife Janelle and children; Tim & special friend Jesse Heimes & granddaughter Makayla of Yankton, Stacie Anderson & special friend Jim Kusel of Yankton, Tony & special friend Jen Devine, Tonya and Richard all at home. Also surviving are mother Betty Huber of Yankton, three brothers; Steve (Joan) Anderson of Volin, Brian (Ruth) Anderson of Gayville, Rick (Lori) Anderson of Yankton, one sister, Jeannette (Leonard) Klasi of N. Sioux City, SD also many nieces, nephews, relatives & a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry, step-father Marvin, brother David, sister Brenda and father-in-law Dean Wiebers.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Irene High School Gymnasium with Burial to follow in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, rural Centerville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday, August 1, with a prayer service beginning at 7 pm at the Hansen Funeral Home in Irene.

An outdoorsman, he enjoyed cowboying, hunting, and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Billie Ann Bailey of High Springs; daughter, Yvette LaRae Bailey of Marietta, son, Gary Bruce Bailey of Alachua, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
