H. Siegfried officiating.
While the weather was extremely cold, a large number of friends paid their last respects to the departed by attending the funeral, the church being crowded to the entrance. Rev. Siegfried delivered an impressive and consoling sermon, and paid a worthy and fitting tribute to the deceased.
The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, among them being a large wreath presented by the following young friends: George Ohlenkamp, Gustav Batterman, Carl and Fred Engelking, Martin Hinze, Herman Orenz, Henry Tatge, Ernest Ohlenkamp, Fred and Wm. Reichert.
Deceased was born February 15, 1888, on the present farm of his parents in the town of Washington, and where he grew to manhood. He leaves besides his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Senholtz, three sisters, Annie, Millie and Amanda, and two brothers, Fred and August, to mourn his demise.

Surviving are one son-in-law, William Schweppe, and a foster son, Bernard Williams, both of Beecher; granddaughters and spouses, Vickie and David Hernandez and Cindy and Dennis Rybolt, all of Beecher; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Beecher Senior Citizens and St. John's Ladies Aid.
