Nothing brought more joy to Tami than spending time with her family, laughing, and bargain shopping - especially for jewelry. She loved her jewelry family and spent hours working with them. Her fun smile, contagious personality and witty sense of humor endeared her to everyone she knew. She loved life!

Tami belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended in Prairie du Chien, Dodgeville and Platteville throughout her life.

Tami was blessed with three children: McKenzi Cory of Blue River, Finnian Gray of Platteville, and Zackary Tyler of Boscobel. She is survived by them and her sisters; Deanna Udelhofen of Lancaster, Wisconsin, Judith (Fred) Moon of Poplar Grove, Illinois, Patricia Gestner of Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, Sandra (Gary) Reed of Lansing, Michigan, Rita (David) Buchholz of Benton, Wisconsin, Donella (Steve) Brunner, & Leane Gabel of Fort Collins, Colorado and her brothers; Mitchell (Cindy) Gabel of Montezuma, Iowa and James (Shirley) Gabel of Fort Collins, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dorothy and her brothers Robert and Timothy Gabel and many grandparents and aunts and uncles.

There will be a Memorial Service for Tami at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Platteville, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a service to follow.

No graveside service is planned at this time.

Debra was born on October 10, 1950. She was married to Terrance Bowlby for 44 years and together they were blessed with 3 children. She worked several different jobs in her career including working as a caregiver and operating a daycare. Later in life she married William Groce who preceded her in death. She did her best to raise her family and many times was the glue that bound her family together. Debra enjoyed camping, going to the lake, and being involved in her children’s life. Family was always first to her. She was a giving, hardworking, loving woman who will be deeply missed.

Debra is survived by: her children, Kevin (Kathryn) Bowlby, Kenneth Bowlby and Kerry Bowlby; grandchildren, Kyle, Georgia, Kenna and Krew; brothers, Dennis Deiter and Bobby Peavy; God-children, Lisa Smith, Billy Digvonni, and Mike Beyer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Deiter; husband, William Groce; and father of her children Terrance Bowlby.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel 413 S. Mears Ave. Whitehall. Visitation will take place from 10-12pm the day of the service at the funeral home.

Over the years Jackie followed her children and grandchildren in their activities. In recent years, she enjoyed her winters with her sisters in California. Jackies faith and membership in the Lutheran Church was very important to her.

Jackie is survived by her children: Cathy (Ray) Roesler of Miles City, MT; Leslie (Bob) Gray of Plevna, MT; Betsy (Wayne) Childers of Edgemont, SD; Mary (Jeff) Haase of Lemmon, SD; and John (Peggy) Hersrud of Ambler, AK; three sisters: Dorothy Willey of California; Ruth Flanigan of Oregon and Evie Goodger of California; a brother, Clayton Hamilton of Sheridan, WY; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters: JoAnn, Bernice and Oleafa; and two brothers: Art and Ralph.

Born in Montana on December 2, 1914, he spent his earlier years in Marcos, Iowa. Lloyd joined the US Marine Corps during WWII, and was assigned with the Marine Detachment aboard the heavy cruiser USS Houston, which sank during a fierce battle in the Sunda Strait near Java. He was taken prisoner-of-war by the Japanese and spent the next three and a half years summoning all of his strength to endure and survive the atrocities of his captors.

After his release at war's end, he returned to Montana where he met the love of his life, Dorothy Hamilton. They were married in 1946 and celebrated 63 wonderful years together. Lloyd's occupations involved many forms of transportation: driving buses in Oceanside, and a civil service job in the Transportation Department at Camp Pendleton. Lloyd was a 75 year member of the Elks Lodge, a lifetime member of the American Ex-POW's, lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the Southern California Chapter of the American Ex-POW's where he served as the Chaplain. He was also a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Vista.

Lloyd was a devoted family man and is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three children, Kevin (Yong Sun), Christy Larivee (Ron), and Dwight (Josie); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Clifford E. Willey; and James Whittaker, a lifelong friend and fellow POW from Britain, who was like a brother.

A service of Remembrance with Military Honors, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 6, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Vista. Pastor Tom Straeter will officiate. Lloyd will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma.
