For a time he considered making the naval service his career, but at the end of the war decided to enter the banking business and became teller of a branch of the Bank of America in Los Angeles. He was married Dec. 4, 1944, at Baltimore, Md., to Millie Eva (Stock) Rebard, born March 17, 1921.
