Frank cherished the outdoors, enjoying activities such as turtle hunting with Jamie on their first date, as well as many other days spent fishing, gardening, and feeding the birds and squirrels. He and Jamie were often seen riding around the streets of Lone Rock in their golf cart, accompanied by his three beloved dogs: Jonas, Zoe, and Sammy.

Frank was deeply grateful for his grandsons, Dameon and Davyn, who were always willing to help Jamie care for him. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Frank while he was under the care of Upland Hills Hospice, especially Felicia, Kelly, Pam, and Macy.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Jamie Roessler; his daughter, Robin (Scott) Lymburner; his stepchildren, Kyle Dischler (Minette O'Bryan), Kevin Dischler, and Shawna Dischler; his grandchildren, Dameon Dischler, Davyn Dischler, Jordan Patterson, and Jacob Patterson; his siblings, Mary Jane (Earl) “Cubby” Ruhland, Patricia Roessler (Jamie Rogers), Vickie (Jerry) Nachreiner, Alan (Diane) Roessler, and Randy Roessler; his brothers-in-law, Dennis Dankert, Shawn (Kristen) Eichorst, and David (Dena) Eichorst; his mother-in-law, Sharon Richards; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond “Gene” Roessler and Beulah "Tootie" Roessler; his father-in-laws, James "Jim" Eichorst and Bill Richards; his sisters, Rita Hess and Jean Ann Dankert; his brother, Joe Roessler; and his brother-in-law, Bryan Eichorst.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Agnes was born on February 28, 1942, in Plain, Wisconsin, to Walter and Agnes (Paar) Ruhland. She was united in marriage to Edwin Ballweg on February 15, 1969. She carried a deep connection to her roots throughout her life and dedicated herself to farming with her husband and raising her four sons.

Agnes had a deep love for the land and farmed on the homestead overlooking Crystal Lake with her family for many years. She found joy in needlework and word searches and was an avid gardener who took great pride in growing fresh produce. Her homemade canned pickles were cherished by those lucky enough to enjoy them. One of Agnes’s greatest joys was spending time in the kitchen baking and cooking for her family—her meals were made with love and brought people together around the table.

Agnes had a love for card games, especially Sheepshead and Euchre, which she enjoyed playing with her family. She was also an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, cheering them on through every season. In her quieter moments, she found joy in watching Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right, and classic episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. Her warmth and love for simple pleasures brought happiness to those around her.

Faith played an important role in Agnes’s life. She was an active member of her church community and valued the strength that faith provided throughout her journey. Agnes will be remembered as a sweet and wonderful woman who was always smiling. Her strength and love for her family were evident in everything she did.

A devoted mother, Agnes took great pride in her family. She is survived by her sons; Neil (Jennifer) Ballweg, Larry Ballweg, Bruce Ballweg, and Scott (Becky) Ballweg. She also leaves behind her brother, Virgil (Jan) Ruhland and sister, Verda Rothwell; as well as two step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Ballweg; her parents, Walter and Agnes(Paar)Ruhland; her brothers, Harland Ruhland, Victor Ruhland, and Reggie Ruhland; and her sisters, Jeannette Masino, Delphina Reeve, Margaret Fargen, and Leona Reisinger.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 27, 2025, at 11:30 AM at St. Norbert's Catholic Church, 8944 Cty Hwy Y in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Following the service and burial, a Celebration of Life lunch will be held at the Dorf Haus in Roxbury, Wisconsin.

Judy was born May 12, 1939 in Sparta, Wis., the daughter of the late Clayton and Meta (Baumbach) Thompson. Judy attended schools in Madison, Richland Center, and Sheboygan, Wis. and Iron Mountain, where she graduated in 1957. She attended Northern Michigan University where she received a bachelor of science degree in 1961. Upon graduation, she taught second grade for one year in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Judy moved back to Iron Mountain with her two sons, Thomas and David Droese in 1966, where she taught kindergarten for 33 years for Breitung Township School System. She retired June 1999.

Judy was a joy to be around, and full of life. She was the most selfless, caring, and loving person. Judy put her heart into everything she did. For being 5' 1" she was the spunkiest and strongest person in the room. She loved to have fun and entertain at her home. To Judy, family was the most important thing in her life. Her family also included her friends. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered and missed.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pine Grove Country Club, and MEA and NEA for many years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, golfing, spending time with friends and family.

Judy leaves two sons, Thomas (Lorrie) Droese of Appleton, Wis. and David (René) Droese of Port Charlotte, Fla; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dan) Paoli, Dan Droese, Josh Droese, Emily (Mike) Miller, Paul (Jess) Droese, Victoria Droese, Nicole Droese, Matt (Amanda) Bicigo, Darren (Chelsea) Bicigo, Drake Griggs; great-grandchildren, Mason, Maddox, and Gabbi Paoli; Bennet and Lilyan Bicigo; Matthew Smith; Colin Kulik; Nala Droese; Emery Droese; and Blake Miller. And her beloved dog, Bella.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, with Pastor Irene White officiating.

Arlene enjoyed Wisconsin sports- especially the Packers. She loved going to rock concerts, taking tropical vacations, lounging on the beach and koala bears. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Steven; daughter, Melissa Mulholland; granddaughter, Mylee Charette; sisters, Charlene (Mark) Andrews and Diane Theesfeld; nieces, Michelle Sieger and Angela Sieger; great-niece, Ava Kunshek; and special friend, Janey Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Barbara.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
