Survivors include three daughters, twins Connie (Michael) Parker, Normal; and Bonnie (William) Gee, Lexington; and Sharon (Raymond) Kime, Kankakee; and 11 grandchildren, Kim, Steve, Linda, Dale, Carolyn, Cheryl, Ted, Thad, Tyler, Todd and Rachel; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son James Robert Goben; and one grandson, Kevin.

She was a member of First Assembly of God, Normal.

She loved life, the Lord and her loved ones. Her passion was leading many Bible studies so she could teach and lead others to Jesus.

She worked at Glass Specialty Bloomington until she retired.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Death22 September 2009Sharon Marie Klemme died on 22 September 2009 at age 73 Visitation for Sharon Marie Kime, 73, of Kankakee, will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or to the donor's choice. She died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 2009) at her home.

Mrs. Kime was born May 14, 1936, in Herscher, the daughter of Durwood and Mary Painter Klemme. Fifty-six years ago she married the love of her life, Raymond "John" Kime, on Feb. 1, 1953, in Kankakee.

Sharon was a member of the Bradley Moose Lodge where she was a Collegiate Guide for several years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Kankakee. Her hobbies and other interests included traveling, dancing, playing cards and most especially, her grandchildren and family.

Sharon is survived by her son, Dale (Pat) Kime of Kankakee; three daughters, Linda (Robert) Skeen, Carolyn Kime and Cheryl Kime, all of Kankakee.

Her grandchildren are Nicole (Robert) Giles, Deanna Skeen, Ryan (Mandy) Kime, all of Kankakee; and three great-grandchildren, Arianna, Addison and Adrienne.

Sharon is also survived by three sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Gee of Lexington, Connie (Mike) Parker of Bloomington, Nancy Swoveland of Phoenix, Ariz; a brother, David Smiley of Phoenix; two sisters-in-law, Lois "Jeannie" Brown of Kankakee and Alice Floyd of Leroy; a brother-in-law, Gary (Carel) Kime of Clifton; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her mother and stepfather, Mary and Harold Smiley; her father and stepmother, Durwood and Hazel Klemme; a stepbrother, James Goben; two sisters-in-law, Betty Stang and Norma Gates; and two brothers-in-law, Carroll "Fuzz" Eastman and Roger Brown.

Sharon will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

He was a farmer in the Kankakee and St. Anne area for 48 years and also he was in sales at Kime Implement.
He served in the U. S. Army and is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Kankakee, IL.
His hobbies and other interests include loved to travel to Florida and Arizona. His favorite past time is hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son and daughter in law, Dale and Pat Kime of Aroma Park, IL., three daughters and son in law, Linda and Robert Skeen, Carolyn Kime and Cheryl Kime all of Kankakee, IL.
His grandchildren are Nicole and Robert Giles, Deanna Sheen, Ryan and Mandy Kime all of Kankakee, IL., and three great grandchildren, Arianna, Addison and Adrienne whose favorite place was grandpa's lap.

He also has several nieces and nephews.
Raymond is proceeded in death by his parents, one sister Norma Gates, one brother Carroll Fuzz Eastman, two brothers in law, William Stang and Roger Brown, and one niece, Debbie Taylor. He was a soft spoken man and non-judgmental of others. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Our memories of him will be forever in our hearts.

She married Michael Parker on Feb. 28, 1970 at Grace Baptist Church. He survives. Also surviving are children, Todd Parker and Rachel (Nathan) Chapman; two grandchildren; her twin sister, Bonnie (Bill) Gee and many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Normal Community High School in 1967 and Bloomington School of Practical Nursing through St. Joseph Hospital, Bloomington. She practiced nursing for 35 years, primarily at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. She was a parish nurse at Grace Church and ministered to people through the medical field.
