Death21 January 2020William Otis Friede died on 21 January 2020 at Ft. Meyers, Lee, Florida, at age 71 William O. Friede, 71, collapsed suddenly from a heart attack on January 21, 2020 at 9:30 PM in Fort Myers, FL.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary, and infant son, Troy Friede. Survived by his wife, Iris Friede; children, Sheree Tallman, Terrance (Stansilava) Friede, Matthew (Keri) Friede, and Sarah (Jesse) Mettner; grandchildren, Angelina, Christopher, Keisha, Nicholas, Riley, Eli, Madison, Lindsey, Owen, and Ava; 7 great grandchildren; and many other extended family members.

William “Bill” and his wife Iris worked for many years building their family business and in 2016 decided that they were going to retire and travel full time. For the next full year they toured the country in their newly purchased RV with their motorcycles in tow. They finally decided to call the Fort Myers area home for the winter after an exhaustive search of suitable resorts. Summers were spent in Minnesota to be nearer to friends and family. Bill’s constant willingness to tell a joke, no matter how many times, and his endless generosity will be greatly missed.

His loving family would like to invite you to celebrate Bill’s life with them at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Eagle Brook Church-White Bear Lake Campus, 2401 Buffalo St., White Bear Lake, with visitation held one hour prior.
