James is survived by his sister, Florence Spangler; sisters-in-law, Linda Boettcher and Patricia Boettcher; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leon and Harley; and sisters, Elvera Merrill and Arleen Rudolph.

Private services were held.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Willow Township, Richland County.

In April 1973, they moved to a dairy farm in LaValle, WI.

After raising her children, she was employed by F&M Bank as a loan processor which she thoroughly enjoyed. Ella Mae was an active and long-time member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cheering for the Badgers and Green Bay Packers, traveling, reading and was a talented seamstress. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending their events.

Ella Mae is survived by her husband, Lyle of LaValle, WI; children, Robin (Paul) Klipp of Onalaska, WI, Randy (Jessica) LeMoine of Marshfield, WI and Renee Heimkes of Eden Prairie, MN; grandchildren, Carleigh and McKenzie Klipp, Wyatt, Luke and Devyn LeMoine, Hailey and Jake Heimkes; siblings David (Alice) Schulte, Carol (Jim) Kast, Donna Brandt and Rick (Traci) Schulte; in-laws Gene and Judy LeMoine, John Schuette and Linda LeMoine along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Paul Heimkes; in-laws Gaylord and Lorraine LeMoine, Darlene Schuette, Ron LeMoine, Rich and Linda LeMoine.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. WI Reverend Pastor Paul Crolius, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be made in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery following the service.

She was known as the most giving, loving, thoughtful, joyous mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend and she will be deeply missed.
