Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, Wis., with the Revs. Francis Steffen and Joseph Hirsch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City, Wis., where Reflections will be at 7 p.m., and a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Jane was born on April 20, 1947, in Dickeyville (Grant County), the daughter of Vincent C. and Catherine (Kieler) Loeffelholz. She married Donald F. Novotney on June 3, 1972. They were residents of La Crosse for 14 years, where Donald was the former superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of La Crosse. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Donald of Jefferson City; three daughters, Nicole Novotney of Denver, Tara Novotney of Omaha, Neb., and Theresa Novotney of Nashville, Tenn; two sons, Thomas (Julie) Novotney of Rockwell, Iowa, and Michael Novotney of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Allison, Cecilia, Daniel and Emma Novotney; eight sisters; and three brothers.

Loeffelholz at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville. Together they farmed in Grant County and in 1965, moved to their family farm in South Lancaster Township. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Leo was also a member of the Catholic Knights and served as vice president. He was also employed with American Breeder Service, and Murrays Dairy Farm and Refrigeration. Leo and Bernadette owned and operated the Maple Harris Guest House in Lancaster for fifteen years. Leo enjoyed scouting back roads and fence line shopping. He was always ready to lend his time to anyone in need.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael Cathedral. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Cecilia was born February 18, 1938 in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, daughter of Vincent and Catherine (Kieler) Loeffelholz. In 1964 she married James W. Collins in Dickeyville, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in October of 2003.
She worked as a cook at Lady of Lourdes for 17 years. She was a girl scout leader for four years and loved to quilt and crochet. She only had one daughter; however, she raised several. She helped raise her brothers and sisters at a young age and she babysat for several years. She was loved, and will be missed by, many. She was a member of St. Raphael Cathedral.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Jeffrey) Pottebaum of Walford, Iowa; three granddaughters, Carolyn, Colleen and Catherine Pottebaum; three brothers, Tom (Connie) Loeffelholz and Fidelis (Nancy) Loeffelholz, both of Platteville and Vincent (Sally) Loeffelholz of Cuba City; seven sisters, Bernadette (Don) Williams of Lancaster, Agnes (Norb) Fritz of Lancaster, Felicia Schmitt of Platteville, Imelda (Bob) Hying of Potosi, Madonna (Mick) Whitaker of Potosi, Mary Lou (Harvey) Kruser of Potosi, and Ruth (LaVern) Wiederholt of Cuba City; a brother in law, Don Novotney; sister in law, Mary O’Hara and brother in law, Michael Collins and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Novotney; brother in law, Leo Abing; brother in law, Jack O’Hara and sister in law, Maureen Collins.

Carl Schmitt, of New Hampton, Iowa, Floyd (Deb) Schmitt, of Castalia, Iowa, and Raymond (Nancy) Schmitt, of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister-in-law, Imelda Schmitt, of West Union, Iowa; and five grandchildren, Jamie, Brittany, Sabrina, Trevor and Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna; two brothers, Clem and Henry; and two sisters, Marie Schmitt and Agnes Meyer.

Wiederholt, 78, of Kieler, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa, surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Church, Kieler, Wisconsin, with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A public visitation for friends will be held from 9-11:15 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. The family requests you utilize masks during the duration of your visit in the church and that you practice social distancing. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is assisting the family.

LaVern was born on March 24, 1942, on the family farm in Louisburg, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Irma (Dalsing) Wiederholt. He married Ruth Loeffelholz on May 21, 1966 at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville.

LaVern loved horses and was a member of the Kieler Saddle Club. LaVern served in the National Guard, entering in 1961 and served his country during the Berlin Crisis. He received an honorable discharge in 1963. He enjoyed buying and selling machinery, and farming for over 50 years. His two favorite things were driving his John Deere tractors and spending time with his girls.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Kathy DeYoung, Cuba City, WI, and Kristie Wiederholt, Gardiner, MT; two granddaughters, Rebecca DeYoung, Cuba City, WI, and Ashley (Marcus) DeYoung, Dickeyville, WI; three sisters, Alvara Francis, Dubuque, IA, Eileen Dunne, Dickeyville, WI, and Mary (Greg) Brandt, Cuba City, WI; and two brothers, Harold (Kay) Wiederholt, Potosi, WI, and Eldon (Judy) Wiederholt, Cuba City, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Herbert; a sister, Janet; and three brothers-in-law, Ralph Kirchen, Charlie Dunne, and Robert Francis.
