There will be a gathering of friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Yankton.

Wilma was born March 9, 1916 in Lesterville, South Dakota to Emil and Christina (Stedronsky) Mach. She grew up in Lesterville and graduated from Yankton High School. Wilma was married Paul Bierle for over 50 years. She lived in Yankton all of her life and worked for Gurney Seed and Nursery, Montgomery Ward, the Draft Board, Dale Johnson Accounting and finally at Paul and Dick's Feeds where she was the manager and part owner. She was also a beautiful seamstress. Wilma was a member of United Church of Christ, Congregational. She lived her life with faith, hope and grace. Her life revolved around her family and caring for them. She deeply loved her granddaughters and great grandson.

Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Paula Bierle of Williamsburg, VA and Laurie Wright of Yankton; two nieces who Wilma also considered as daughters: Gail Bride of Spring Hill, FL and Leila Harritt of Kansas City, MO; three granddaughters: Chauntel Wright of Yankton, Chalese Bierle of Kansas City, MO and Erica Wright of Yankton; a great grandson, Paul Taggart of Yankton; a brother, Dr. Leland (Gladys) Mach of Clovis, CA; and many nieces, nephews and beloved neighbors and friends.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul on July 16, 1991; five brothers and sisters: Grace Bride, Gladys Vitek, Mabel Mach, Adeline Hladky and Art Mach.
