She was born Catherine Lorraine to Albert and Marcella Greenheck on Oct. 3, 1926 in the town of Clyde, Iowa County, Wis. She was a proud graduate of UW-Platteville in Elementary Education. Kitty taught in Kenosha, Beaver Dam, Oregon, Madison, West Middleton and was a long time sub in the Middleton School District. She married Larry Duren in Lone Rock, Wis, on June 28, 1950. They celebrated 52 years of marriage in 2002. She is survived by her seven children: Mike (Liz), Dan (Betsy), Mary, Amy (Wayne), Cathy (Craig), Meg (Dave), Liz (Johnny), and her sister Mary Ann Lindh. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Abbey, Jenna, Carley, Chris, Eric, Megan, Mark, Matt, Tori, Claire, Katie, Rebecca, Mason and Grant. She leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brothers, Joseph and Francis Greenheck. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Waunakee Manor as well as the staff at Agrace for taking such wonderful care of her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD?S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave, Middleton. at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 22,2012, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM. until 11:30 AM with a time for family remembrances at 11:30 a.m. until time of the service. A private family burial service will be held in Cazenovia at a later date.

Survivors include, her daughter Rita (Jim) Kline of Spring Green; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen Cady and Bonnie (Caral) Wolf; 2 sister in- laws, Winnie Weitzel and Betty Burt; 2 daughter in-laws, Theresa Weitzel and Sharon Weitzel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; daughter Marjorie; 3 sons Tom, Rich and Jim; 1 grandson Todd; 2 granddaughters Tammy and Toni; 3 brothers, Martin, Joseph, and James; and sister, Mary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Loreto. Fr. Larry Bowens will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. The Richardson Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green is assisting the family with arrangements.

Death23 September 2012Donald James Weitzel died on 23 September 2012 at age 72 ELMWOOD, IL - Donald J. "Jim" Weitzel, 72, of Elmwood passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, with family by his side.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1940, in Franklin Township, Wis., to Harold and Teresa Volk Weitzel.

He is survived by Sharon, his loving wife of over 50 years. Also surviving are his mother, Teresa of Plain, Wis; three children, Terry (Daphne) Weitzel of Sheridan, Wyo., Rhonda (Will) Tesch of Grafton, Wis., and Shelly (Jay) Parsons of Cheyenne, Wyo; and two sisters, Marge Powell of Cottage Grove, Wis., and Rita Kline of Spring Green, Wis.

He was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Courtney (Dan) McFalls, Allison Parsons, Brittney Tesch, Frannie Weitzel and Olivia Parsons; and two great-grandchildren, Gracie McFalls and Sophie McFalls. One brother-in-law, Ron (Fern) Christianson, and one sister-in-law, Marsha (Chuck) Grant, also survive, along with many aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Richard and Tom.

Jim retired from Caterpillar in 2002 and also worked for Shissler Seed Company for 28 years.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elmwood.
Jim was a classic car enthusiast and was well known nationally for his classic car restoration expertise. Most of all, Jim was a loving and caring family man and true friend.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
