Health – Goshen following an extended illness. For the past three years, Bill has resided in Lagrange. Bill was born in Carlinville, Illinois on September 6, 1949 the son of William D. & Norma Jean (Chapin) Spencer. The family moved to Plymouth, Indiana where Bill completed high school with the PHS Class of 1968. He then attended Barber College and began barbering in the Carlinville and Mendon areas. In Mendon, he assisted with farming. He transitioned to manufacturing in quality control to which he was very proficient. He had worked for Colt Industries in Quincy, Illinois, the Gunite Corporation in Elkhart and then Lycro Products Co. in Wakarusa. On July 6th, 2013 in Wolcottville, Indiana he took as his wife the former Pamela K. (Rosendaul) Hoff. The couple enjoyed worshiping at the South Milford Church of Christ in Wolcottville. Bill liked fishing and hunting, especially water fowl. He had served many years as a Scout Master and competed in muzzle loader events. He was also a longtime member of the Beagle Club in Bristol. Bill is survived by his father William D. Spencer Sr. of Plymouth, his wife Pam, son Shawn W. (Elizabeth) Spencer, daughter Nickole (Jeremy) Plank all of Goshen along with a step-daughter Amanda J. Dunn. Also surviving are three granddaughters, three step-grandsons and former spouse Karen K. (Kasparie) Spencer of Goshen. He also has four siblings who survive. Charles H. (Judy) Spencer of Bristol, Richard F. (Sandra) Spencer of Elkhart, Beth A. (Jeffrey) Siderius of Wheaton, Illinois and Mary L. (Damian) Mizera of Maryville, Missouri along with many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Norma Jean and a sister Sue Ellen Weyrick Wilson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3nd from 10 a.m. until noon in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will be held there at noon with the Rev. Brian Walter presiding. Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.

She was born on November 16, 1915 in the Town of Winfield, Sauk County, the daughter of Henry and Amanda (Luedtke) Wagner. On October 5, 1939 she was married to Ray Zobel. Carolyn was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church and active with St. John WELCA. She was also active with the Sauk County Association for Retarded Children. She enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers. Survivors include five children: Edward (Dorothy) Zobel of Reedsburg; Judy Williams of Baraboo; Carole Neumann of Reedsburg; Gary (Ann) Zobel of Reedsburg and David Zobel of Reedsburg; nine grandchildren: Mark (Lori) Zobel, Scott Zobel, Lori (Don) Lichte, Jennifer (Mark) Rabata, Jason (Heidi) Williams, Craig (Yvonne) Neumann, Corey Neumann, Curt Neumann and Chad Neumann; nine great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters: Muriel (Elmer) Schmidt of Reedsburg; George (LaVerne) Wagner of Reedsburg, Alfred Wagner of Wisconsin Dells, Berniece (LaVern) Herritz of Reedsburg; Ervin (Mercedes) Wagner of Reedsburg and Norma (Melvin) Richert of Reedsburg; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, on August 4, 2000; two brothers: Edward Wagner and Harold "Bud" Wagner; and one sister: Alice Schrank Westerman. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday at ST. JOHN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH in Reedsburg with Dr. James Steinbrecher officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday at the HOOF FUNERAL HOME in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sauk County Association for Retarded Children or St. John Lutheran Church would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family. Mom, We watched as your life quickly faded away and hoped we would never have to see this dark day. We will remember the good times, embrace them with love, being certain you are with the Lord in Heaven above. We've lost a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. We pray that with God's grace we will be together again. We would also like to give special thanks to the staff of the Sauk County Health Care Center for the care and concern shown to Mom the past few weeks.
