Death | 1 September 2014 | Jacqueline Bramwell Sweatman died on 1 September 2014 at Kalispell, Flathead, Montana, at age 78 Jacqueline “Jackie” Bramwell Frahm, 78, “went to be with her Lord and Savior” on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. Jackie passed away due to complications from lung cancer. She was born June 18, 1936, to John and Ivy Sweatman in London. She grew up during World War II in England, during which time their family home was bombed and they had to leave London to live with other family members. She married Eldon John Frahm April 14, 1956, at All Saints Church of England. Together they had three children, Robert Frahm, Julie Frahm and Lisa Frahm-Schwegel. In 1965 the family moved to Glasgow Air Force Base in Montana. She was one of the first certified nursing assistants at North Valley Hospital Extended Care where she was employed for 12 years. After her time of employment she decided to stay at home and care for her grandchildren. Jackie was very active in her community and at First Baptist Church of Whitefish. While at First Baptist, she volunteered her time as the church secretary. She was also involved in the prison ministry. She knitted hats and gloves for RSVP to give to children in the community. Jackie also assisted the teachers at Bissell School, including playing cribbage with the students and assisting the teachers. Jackie enjoyed gardening, golfing, reading, knitting, bowling, camping, and spending time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ivy Sweatman; and her husband, Eldon Frahm, in 2010. Jackie is survived by her sister, Irene, and husband, Bill, of Sutton Surry, England. She is also survived by her three children, Robert Frahm and wife Margo of Whitefish, Julie Frahm of Kalispell, and Lisa Frahm-Schwegel and husband Carl of Craig, Alaska. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Desirae, Jeffrey, Chad, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Cody, CJ and Tori; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Sept. 8 at First Baptist Church of Whitefish. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for Jackie’s family. |

Visitation will be held at Hub Funeral Home on September 14th 2018 from 4 to 8PM located at 111 S. Maple St. Grant Park, IL 60940, 815-465-6831. Funeral services will be held at St Peter's UCC on September 15th at 11AM with visitation at 10AM, Reverend Jan Johnson and Reverend Tom Ewing officiating. Burial/Interment will follow at Union Corners Cemetery. Hub Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements. Vic was a life-long resident of Grant Park born on June 24th, 1935. He married his high school sweetheart, Elaine J (Hamann) Frahm on August 25th, 1956 and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary together. His many accomplishments included 6 years in the Air Force, 35 year career at Ford Motor Company as an Industrial Electrician and volunteer fireman who was part of a small group who started the Ambulance Service in Grant Park. He was in the first class of EMT's in 1975 and continued training to become a Paramedic and Director of the Ambulance Service for 10 years. His community service also included terms on the Village Board and creation of Grant Park Historical Society where he was instrumental in moving Point School to its current location. He was a long time member of St. Peter's UCC Grant Park where he served in many capacities. Vic loved the outdoors and camping with his family and he spent many hours at genealogy tracing his family tree. Vic is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hatwig (Bultman) Frahm and brothers Eldon (Jackie) and Harley (Dorothy) Frahm, Son-in-Law Joel McDaniel and Daughter-in-Law Linda Frahm. Vic is survived by his wife, Elaine Frahm, children Debra (Robert) Dennis, Sherrie (Mark) Hruby, Tim Frahm, Diane (Doug) Morris, Eric (Jayne) Frahm and Sheila Frahm. He also has 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to St. Peter's UCC in Grant Park and Kankakee Valley Hospice for their loving care. |

Annemarie worked at Bimba as an assembler and manufactured cylinders. She loved being outside. She was a member of Maternity BVM Catholic Church. Annemarie was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. Annemarie is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Lee and Stephanie Ann Sommervold, of Noblesville, Ind., and Brian Keith and Mary Sommervold, of Westfield, Ind; one daughter and one son-in-law, Erin Anne and Craig Husch, of Bourbonnais; five grandchildren, Austin, Amelia, Jude, Hayden and Corinne; two sisters, Emilie Kent, of Estero, Fla., and Magdelina Davila, of Inverness, Fla; and one brother and one sister-in-law, Michael and Julie Ujwari, of Inverness. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Johanna. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. |

Alan Darel Sommervold, son of Darel and Norma (Scott) Sommervold, was born September 4, 1957 in Oregon City, OR. He grew up in Battleground, WA and graduated from Battleground High School in 1975. Alan entered the U.S. Army on January 11, 1977 in Portland, OR. He was honorably discharged on January 10, 1981 at Fort Sill, OK. Alan earned a degree in diesel mechanics at Canby Area Vocational Technical Institute in Canby, MN. He then moved to Sioux Falls, SD where he worked in assembly at Woods DuAl Manufacturing for 32 years until the plant closed in 2017. Alan was united in marriage with Gail McFarlane on July 11, 1992 in Sioux Falls, SD. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Gail; four children, Tanya Vigna, Sioux Falls, SD, Mike Vigna, Harrisburg, SD, Zayne Larson and his wife, Erica, Garretson, SD, Shayne Larson, Sioux Falls, SD; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his father, Darel Sommervold, Vancouver, WA; Norma Sommervold, Vancouver, WA; three siblings, Kevin Sommervold and his wife, Diane, Marcia Ludahl and her husband, Dave, and Vicky Sampson and her husband, Ned, all of Washington; and many other relatives and friends. |
