He is survived by his wife, Anna of Prairie du Sac; a son, Darwin (Mary) of Prairie du Sac; son-in-law, Valerius Schultz, Herman, Mo; two daughters-in-law, Carol of Colgate and Diana of Baraboo; sister, Norma Neumaier of Sauk City; three sisters-in-law; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gene and Duane; and a daughter, Harolyn. A funeral service will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 with Pastor Dennis Weis officiating. Burial will be in Zion Memorial Cemetery. Neumaier on Sept. 29, 1948; he preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1986. She enjoyed cooking; and was the former owner and operator of the Blue Willow, Wendt’s Café, and the Copper Kettle. Norma later worked at the Blue Spoon Café and Culvers of which she enjoyed well into her 80’s. She also enjoyed fishing and her trips to the casino.

Norma is survived by her 11 children; Larry Neumaier, Jim (Fay) Neumaier, Kathy (Gerry) Breunig, William (Sandi) Neumaier, Thomas Neumaier, Patty (Dennis) Seeley, Laura (Gary) Richmond, Karen (Doug) Shinker, Nancy (Dale) Rathermel, Connie (Doug) Rauls, Donna (Terry) Jonas; a special friend, Scherrie (Gerald) Roth; many grandchildren and step grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several grandchildren, a great-grandson, and her siblings, and Larry's friend Kevin.

Childers of Georgetown; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Rosetta Tabor of Winchester, Doris and Don Ledford of Richmond and Rodney Jordan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Winchester Cemetery shelter by Bro. Jesse Kline.

Visitation will be at the cemetery from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Northside Baptist Church, or Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391.
