Keith was born Aug. 7, 1905, in Neptune, WI to Clyde and Iva Gwin and had been a Whatcom County resident for 80 years. He was a member of the state championship football team in the 20's at Whatcom High School. Mr. Gwin worked for 30 years as a School Bus driver for the Bellingham School District, and received a 25 year Good Service pin for having no accidents during his term as a bus driver. "If all the miles that he drove during those years were accumulated, it would equal the distance of 14 times around the world." He loved to camp, travel, bowl, fish and spent a lot of time remodeling his house. Attending church was very important in Mr. Gwin's life, as he was the oldest member of the Bellingham Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sibyl Gwin of Bellingham son, Gary Gwin & wife Mary Ann of Whidbey Island daughter, Shirley & husband Joe Nuce of Whidbey Island brother, Denzel Gwin of Leavenworth nine grandchildren eight great-grandchildren and numerous other family members. Preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Catherine six brothers, Kenneth, Venor, Cameron, Wendel, Nardey, Arden and by his two sisters, Leith Paulson and Freida McFarland.

Viewing will be held Wed., Feb. 13, 5 - 8 pm and Thurs., Feb. 14, 9 am to 5 pm at Greenacres-Moles Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Fri., Feb. 15, 11 am in Greenacres-Moles Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Demma officiating and burial to follow in Greenacres-Moles Cemetery.
