Eula was a member of the Elks Travel & Fun Club and several bowling leagues. Her hobbies included bowling, knitting, vegetable gardening, razor claming, and traveling in their RV. She was a Mariner's fan and enjoyed watching a good game. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, brothers, Gerald, Lee, John, Rolland, James, sisters, Barbara and Thelma. She is survived by her daughter, Laurel Hallman (Ward Durham) of Poulsbo, brother, Irwin Tescher (Betty Jean) of Bison, SD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Heusing Cemetery, rural Grant Park, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Illinois Veterans Home at Manteno. He died Saturday,January 30, 2010, at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee, IL. Hub Funeral Chapel, Grant Park, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Raloff was co-owner and operator of Raloff's Supermarket in Grant Park. He was born March 25, 1921, in Blue Island, IL, the son of Valentine F. and Minnie H. Frahm Raloff. His wife, the former Glendola Darnell McNutt, whom he married July 5, 1945, in Rockland, Maine, died Feb. 12, 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a U.S. Coast Guard Sonar Operator during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, past commander of Star Post 295, Grant Park, Kankakee County, 18th District and Jr. Vice Commander of Department of Illinois American Legion, and a member of the Advisory Council of Illinois Veterans Homes, representing the American Legion. He was also a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Grant Park. He was a charter member of the Grant Park Lions Club, a life member of the Kankakee Masonic Lodge and a member of the Danville Consistory 32nd Degree.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Valgene and Kim Raloff of Grant Park; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Darrell Krenek of Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Dawn Reisig officiating. She passed away on January 31 at the Crestview Manor in Evansville. Earleen was born on April 16, 1922, to Albert and Della Abraham in Elk Point, South Dakota. She grew up in Elk Point and attended public school. She was united in marriage to John Pomerenke on December 21, 1941, at Brule Creek Lutheran Church in South Dakota. Following their marriage, she moved to Seattle, Washington with her sister-in-law, Olga to work as a riveter on B-17 Bombers at Boeing during WWII, while her husband was in the service.
She and her husband moved to the Alexandria area to farm in 1946. Several years later they moved to the Rose City area to a farm where they lived until 1968. In 1974, she moved to Alexandria where she lived for many years until moving to Evansville where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of Esther Lutheran Church, its ladies aid, former Sunday school teacher, and a former member of the Miltona American Legion Auxiliary. Earleen enjoyed gardening, sewing, raising chickens, cooking and canning. She especially loved being a mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Gaylon; grandson, Troy; four sisters and two brothers. Earleen is survived by two sons, DuWayne Pomerenke of Eagle Bend and Craig (fiancee, Lisa Nordang) Pomerenke of Hewitt; a daughter, Rosemary (John) Biel of Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren, Brent Pomerenke, Charles Biel and Maria Biel. Pallbearers were Jeff Pomerenke, Art Pomerenke, Robbie Ekdahl, Marvie Meyers, Larry Sanvik and Dennis Klug. Honorary pallbearers were Edwin Pomerenke, Milo Arvidson, Harvey Peterson, Eric Pomerenke, Brent Pomerenke and Charles Biel. Burial was at the church cemetery.
